" I inserted the Vaic Vv30B's into the Welborne Laurel and was shocked at the improvement.
What was once a contender is now a champion.
The Laurel, with the Vv30B's, produced superb bottom-end response, along with a tonally pure midrange.
Recording after recording revealed a wonderful tightness to the sound, with a highly believable lower midrange presence.
The top-end extension of the Laurel was still not in the class of the more expensive Cardinal, but I didn't care. The amp was righteous. "
