| Vaic Valve VV30B Triode  "I inserted them [Vaic VV30B's] into the [Welborne] Laurel and was shocked at the improvement. What was once a contender is now a champion. The Laurel, with the VV30B's, produced superb bottom-end response, along with a tonally pure midrange. Recording after recording revealed a wonderful tightness to the sound, with a highly believable lower midrange presence.
