| DENON PRA-S10 Balanced RC Preamp  UHC-MOS Wideband Constant-Voltage Power Supply The PRA-S10 preamp features the wideband constant-voltage power supply with a UHC-MOS. This original technological innovation from DENON is able to obtain more than 100 kHz from direct current (DC) while maintaining the power supply's output impedance at a low level. This extremely stable supply of power amply supports smooth transmission of a high-quality audio signal to the power amp. New Inverted SIGMA Balance Circuit Sound quality tends to suffer if the number of stages in an amp is increased. The PRA-S10, however, employs an improved New Inverted SIGMA Balance Circuit that combines a 16.5 dB gain amp and the tone control function in a single, simplified circuit. This design facilitates the amplification and transmission of an exceptionally pure signal. Chassis Layout Featuring Short Signal Paths The circuitry and layout of preamplifiers are often complex, but the control block and the signal block in the PRA-S10 have been separated by a shield plate that effectively eliminates mutual interference. In addition, the main volume control has been placed near the input terminal to shorten the signal path at a critical location. Both improvements in chassis design serve to prevent degradation in sound quality. Design Concept from Internationally Acclaimed S1 Series The design of the PRA-S10 inherits the same air of luxury featured in DENON's Reference-Class S1 Series − the PRA-S1, POA-S1 and PMA-S1, among others. The S1 Series has earned considerable acclaim in international audio markets for both design and performance.
